JKP Marketing was engaged by the landowners and developers to create a brand and convey the vision behind the development of a town in New Zealand. This master-planned community adheres to the SMART growths strategic principles of creating a place where people can live, learn, work, and play, and is supported by the council. JKP developed timeless branding that reflects the community's vision, choosing blue to represent the seaside location of the Sandhills and a circle to symbolise unity. Additionally, JKP was tasked with creating a booklet that outlines the vision behind the highly liveable and sustainable community. This booklet has become one of JKP's favourite projects to date and it has been provided to the NZ government to convey the vision of this town, which is influenced by the new urbanism movement.
